The Landlord of the White Lion has very kindly agreed to open his doors at 8.40am for kit storage, so any recce runners who require storage can leave their gear at the Lion. As if we needed any more reasons to visit the pub!Apparently now over 40 runners confirmed – steady, medium and quick pace groups heading out so all are welcome : - )
This was the "medium group" could nt fit all 22 into the shot....nice landscape at Greave Height at far west of route

An excellent run out, & the curry soup in the Lion was pretty good too. Thanks for organising it Trig!
Cheers for sorting that out Steve: that recce was as well organised and provided for as many races! Good crowd too. Cracking day out.
Yes, most def, thanks to Steve for sorting this recce and to Barry for the lovely soup and sarnies. I had a great run and hope to be back if any more are planned, thank you all. Sarah
Good to see you back on the fells Gary - send me details of your 100mile challenge. Feb 26th is our next Heptonstall big day out; 26 high, moorland, miles. It can only mean one thing: the wild and remote, 6 Trigs +1 (aka THE MAGNIFICENT 7). Good training????

BTW I promised to send this link to Splatcher (an entertaining account of the July race from the point of view of a first-time fell runner from Kent) enjoy.....

I think some of our club are looking to come and do your magnificent 7 so we'll keep you posted.
Thanks for today - tough even if the end group but I'm pleased that you organised better weather than what we had last weekend on Hebden!
