    Wink Bob Graham training week

    Hello all!

This is my first posting on the forum, although I have been reading the BG entries for some time now. Am planning a BG attempt next year, and I'm looking to spend a week in the Lakes around October to do some recceing - is there anyone who is interested in joining me or planning something similar themselves?

As I'm based in the south getting up to the lakes on a regular basis isn't that easy, and I'm hoping a solid week of recceing will improve my fairly shoddy route knowledge.

Any thoughts or words of wisdom gratefully received - Monkey

    Are your dates already sorted?

I am up there for a week at the end of oct/early nov - accomodation booked: but I need to check dates. Its a family thing, but will be spending a couple of days doing the sort of thing you have in mind.

    Thanks for the replies.

Always injured - have not get any dates booked as yet as I will have to fit the trip around work.... and it'll be a month before I can confirm the time off. If you let me know when you're likely to be in the Lakes we might be able to meet up - it would certainly help with transport to / from each leg.

Baggins - when I can confirm my dates I may well take you up on the offer - thanks.

But there isn't a Sept 24th and 25th that falls on a Friday/Saturday? Lost already?

Monkey - Will be interested in popping along with you. Won't try this for some time probably not even until year after (2009) but would love to pop down. Afraid I can only make Saturday or Sunday though.

Let us know the dates and I will see what I can do.

Perfect Planning Prevents P1ss Poor Performance
