My sister is currently doing a sandwich year working for the Nat Trust in Edale/Hayfield and was part of the 'recovery team' She says the reason it isn't back up yet is that they're 'waiting for the right glue'. Apparently they keep getting calls saying it's been pinched again, when it hasn't actually been re-attached.
2 miles in the pool this morning. Ready for a very steady 20 mile plod tomorrow.....................forecast's good !

A Cold and windy run over Threshfield moor to Winterburn Reservoir then upto Weets Top, along to Lee Gate down to Bordley up over Higher Heights to Skirethorns returning home via Threshfield.
12 ish miles reccie of first bit of Calderdale Hike from Sowerby to Cross Stones, windy and boggy, but in good company with Mrs.C and Lily. Lift back with Mr.C and bacon and egg butties and tea on the way:thumbup:
