Went up on Monday with Hazel and AndreaS from Macc to look at Leg 2 (again). Horrid weather
as the visibility ~ 30 yards in places. Came down Sticks Pass as the weather was deteriorating and it was getting colder. As we dropped down though, we came out of the cloud and the view down from Sticks Pass towards Thirlspot was stunning... real classic Lake District fells and fantastic colours on the hillsides... a chorus of Jerusalem burst forth!!!

Did over 4,000 ft and had a look at the Dodds (which I have always found hard to navigate or picture my way through) and reminded myself how horrible Clough Head is so not a waste of time despite the crappy weather.

I need to get to the Lakes more to get some of those long, long climbs in.

Done some hill reps today (4 x 500') and tripped on a tree root at full tilt descending for the final time and landed heavily.

This was meant to be a pair of big back to back days, but abbreviated by weather and then exercising the descenders theory of "disengage brain". I managed to disengage brain, but then heavily engaged Teggs Nose... face first. Nothing broken but a bit sore.
