Heading South (with dog) from the summit of Hindscarth on Saturday 18th, around midday. You ran back along the ridge path/skyline, so am thinking you were going back to Dale Head and then down to Honister or maybe Dale Tarn. I was watching from Robinson. A bit windy wasn't it?
This morning on Place Fell, in a group of maybe 20, all dressed in brown, running around on all fours, some of you appeared to be wearing comedy "antler" style hats. It was a bit claggy mind. Whoever you were, you were bloody fast!

You'd think by now we would have started to see each other, wouldn't you? All I can conclude is that there's a lot more fell runners than people who read this thread...

Using last weekend's high cup nick fell race as an example, I'd guess that there were 7 or 8 forumites there out of 171 race finishers. Lets assume I was wrong (its been known) and there were actually a dozen people there who are posters on the forum. That means that 7% of the runners at that race were formuites and, from this entirely slap dash survey, I can conclusively prove that any random runner that you might bump into out in the hills has a 93% chance of not being on the forum
Ran Windmills Whizz route yesterday. It would seem that one or two have been practicing for next week. A few fell shoe prints in the mud below Nab Hill.
