8.4 miles on the flat with the dog: first time he's run that far (6 months old). I'll probably get out with him again on Thursday, then it'll be no more runs for a while for him. He's having the chop on Friday, so lead walks only for 10 days after that. I'm not though...

Legs a bit tired after Saturday's Hobble, but not too bad considering. Hill reps tomorrow.

Ran down to Ilkley on the Dales Way and back on the road through Nesfield with Stef. Lovely evening for a run out. Felt terrible as we set off but everything started moving soon

    Re: Today's Training

Went out with a young lad (14 years younger than me) from work this morning. Had intended on doing a 10 mile out and back on old railway line from Trafford Park but somehow managed to miss one of the mile announcements from the phone so ended up doing 12 miles in total. We done 7:43 minute miles I did not think I could run that fast. It gives a nice alternative to running on hills all the time a good blast like that at a pretty constant pace (and still away from the traffic) felt great.

20 reps of Frodsham Hill: 4000 feet in under 2 hours. I think the training's starting to pay off!
