Very impressive Trig. You can use it to siege a castle afterwards too![]()

Note the balmy Heptonstall spring weather, caught the sun lumping all that timber about! Perhaps we won't be wading through knee-deep bogs after all.
Had a busy day picking up all the flags and timers etc today - got a bit of a shock to see most of heptonstall cobbles dug up and a massive great hole where our start line is due to be!
Comb your hair and wash your vest SPORT SUNDAY will be looking to catch your best side hopefully as you hurtle down some tussock and heather, as opposed to staggering salvia-faced, up some 500 foot ascent.
Better find out where they'll be hiding so you can pick up the pace and look a bit athletic...
There's no point in me making an effort when I spot them. However hard I try to look relaxed, athletic & cool, the photos always make me look like a pensioner who's just caught his foot in a mantrap. I'm thinking of running with a bag over my head. If I turn up. I might be running round the Lakes on Saturday, in which case getting out of bed on Sunday could be a problem...

Does the hole where the start line is supposed to be add to the climb stats for the race?
Easy - just get the Sport Sunday team to superimpose the pictures with your avatar
Hope you can make it on Sunday - anyway its a 3 Line Whip for ex-Heptonstall forumites!
In recognition of your epic Mag7 attempts I have even been down to Cheshire to recruit a bunch of Weaverham based marshals to make you feel at home.
A pint of Copper Dragon awaits........
