[QUOTE=Ady In Accy;473498]Unsure of results but this was the leader by over 6 mins just past Walshaw Dean causeway - pretty sure it is Chris Birchall from Leeds AC
Tim Midgeley Horsforth Harriers.
My second HFR and only just made it to registration (train was delayed getting in to Hebden)
Really enjoyed the run (apart from that last hill!).
Thanks to the organisers, marshals, everyone who gave encouragement & for the random jelly babies / drinks along the way.

A fantastic day out from start - great atmoshphere at registration and at the start
to finish - I can't think of another fell race with such a brutal finish.
I fact the whole race is fairly brutal but it's certainly a good tour of the local hills and valleys, with a lot of hard terrain.
A race for the organisers and volunteers - and anyone who runs it - to be proud of.
And great weather too. Look like one of those weather forecasts was right.
Cheers all.
Great event well marshalled and flagged thanks to everyone who helped out especially at the water stop!
Thoroughly enjoyed the race - my Garmin says I've lost nearly 2500 calories and I'm now doing my best to get them back. The journey from North Wales was well worth it especially as it was Mother's Day and Mum lives near Holmfirth! Apologies for not staying for the prizegiving for that very Mothering reason. Certainly will try to bring a task force over next year - it's a cracker!
And well done to Midge Timley!!

Agree on the fantastic organisation. Proof that the true sense of community spirit still exists in some parts of the country. I want to know where the doughnuts came from as I may have to see if I can get them delivered to my house nom nom... Shift+R improves the quality of this image.
