The results will be nicely presented in full on www.heptonstallfellrace.org.uk; in meantime here is the photo version. 171 ran so we still had few to come in at this stage.

I should just send my get well wishes to today's outstanding bravery medals; Nick Charlesworth and Matt Haworth who both got nasty gashes requiring stitches (cracking their shins on a hidden stone in a bog coming of Greave Height) I did nt see Matt's injury but Nick's looked pretty deep - can't believe they both ran a further 8 miles to finish before going to A&E. Well done lads! Hope its not too sore tomorrow!

I thought he ran for Bingley Harriers?

    Re: Heptonstall Fell Race

Thanks again for all the kind words above; Trig (CVFR) was only 1 of around 10 ROs /forumites in a joint CVFR and Tod Harriers team (this group are sometimes know collectively as the aptley named Heptonstall Hurriers!)

Paul Cotton - Timing and Registration - Tod Harrier (plus Chris Sygle , Louise Marix Evans, and Kate Mansell - all CVFR)
Mark Wharton - Finish field set up (owner) and parking - CVFR
Charlie B - Marshals and flagging - CVFR
Pete B - Marshals and flagging - Tod Harrier runner
    Fnstein(TIm) -route plan & permissions - CVFR
Pete F - web site design - CVFR
Jedi (aka Graeme Brown) - CVFR (designed flyers and trophy) AND CAME 3RD IN THERACE
Joey - (Joe Daniels) Tod Harrier - club invites and daily forum update
    Paul Cruthers (Treasuer) Tod Harrier

Many other runners gave a significiant amount of time, along with friends, family, and neighbours- we would need a separate strand to thank them all -but they know who they are!!!

We all had a great day - mainly because a whopping 171 of you supported the race (despite Lads Leap and Mothers Day)

Your kind words and thanks will go to the whole team (so I can persuade em all to do it again next year!!!!!)

    Hi Trig

Dawn and I had a lot of fun at Lady Royd Farm, assisted by young James with his Lego emergency services, we were spoiled with the view and the hospitality. I will send you the pics shortly, but I was really happy to support this excellent race, having found you all so friendly and welcoming on the recce in January.

It was a great day! Thank you for organising

Great pictures Ady! Sport Sunday make a great addition to the event - particularly as many of us would loved to have run but were busy orgainising - your photos gave us a taste of the action! Enjoyed spotting my mates (looks like they were all having fun)
Glad you enjoyed the lovely weather - hope you slapped on some sun cream
Would love to have you back for our next race on 7th July (Heptonstall Festival)
