If that's the stile right at the start in the woods, then I think it worked very well!

I clearly remember climbing over it - a magnificent construction.
I reckon you could have got over it two at a time.

Thats reassuring - we spent the best part of 2 days building it and putting it away again!
Its worth its (considerbale) weight in gold -by stopping the bottle necking it will allow a much bigger entry in future years (uneffected by mothers day and lads leap)
The farmer who was upset at us last year was very happy we stuck to the flags on Sunday (the stile goes into his fields) he broke off from lambing yesterday to put the whole lot in trailer to save us re enacting the easter passion (heaving an impossibly heavy wooden construction up a big hill while others look on and jeer)

Couldn't believe that 4th was Chris Davies until I saw the pics. Fourth overall and he's over 50, beat the first V40! He came down to North Wales and did something similar on one of my races last year - the guy is superhuman. What's he on?

Yes we just debating whether a V50 gets to keep the V40 prizes if he beats the V40....
See some great pictures of Chris and many others at the finish line here......http://www.flickr.com/photos/nicianson/sets/
Copper Dargon will be pleased to see their banner in many of these shots (Copper Dragon provided 80 pints and 2 crates toward our prizes and fund raising)
We've had to censor the pictures of Nick and Matts wounds in case there were any minors viewing
    Hope they heal soon

My sister works with him (they are both MEP's) and she told me he is 57, she runs but wouldnt dream of going running with Chris.
