Well done Kev. Are you working on the financial year ( April to March )? Or should that be "1100k so far this year" ?
In which case it could be 4500k by the end of December, just keep at it!

problem is, when the sun comes out of a Friday, I quite like a beer or two.
And beer-drinking and getting up at 7.30 am to ride 70 miles round hilly Kent, just don't go together ....

Had to be mtb on a day like today... 39.82km/1036m in 2:14... knees made first biking appearance of the year.

Well, up with the lark today, cycled from Meanwoodside to just short of Appletreewick and back, spoiling the sheep to my singing along the way, it was grand.

Cracking ride from Boro/Bridge to York today with my son and a mate, browse around bike shop in York, coffee, cake, lunch and end with a pint. Round trip of 50 miles:thumbup:

Thought i better bite the bullet and go out with my club - really pleased was hanging out the back a bit - but not ridiculous

went out with club Saturday a.m. too: group way too big, getting on for 20. Hate that.
I suffered a bit - having been one of three or four riders doing all the work at the front, bonked after about 95k and struggled to get the legs back.
Went v quickly to hanging off the back, and rode home with my chin hanging down between my knees.

125km, 1,300m climbing, av sp 28kph.

Gonna go out tomorrow on my own for a nice long steady ride again.

I've done 32 miles today, which brings my weekly total to 92. Feels like my cycling legs are coming back. Popped up to watch the finish of the skyline & pinch a brew & a bun :thumbup:

By heck it were cold this morning and someone has pinched my daylight again.
Half a the 28k ride under the street lights but it was blooming cold.
Should be nice on the return journey.
