Good stats Han but you may need to see a Doctor. Av Hr of 15 is slightly low.
Nice you are back in the saddle and plotting numbers.
    Well done you.

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

Been on my road bike again :w00t: (don't tell Wheeze or Toffer). Having laid in the shed for about 3 years with a flat tyre, I am back on it. So WHY?

I guess moving to this new house, and finding the roads around here are far more pleasant and safer to ride, I can go for miles exploring lanes without hitting a main road. I am a crap and scaredy biker and hate traffic!

So the bike came out 2 weeks ago and I've had maybe 10 rides max, from scratch. Mainly 1/2 - 1 hour, but I did 2 hours+ today, from home up beside Llyn Brianne, on a bit and back .......bloody hills, I do find them knackering, where's the pleasure in this ? But a lovely summers day and I was quite pleased with myself when I got home, certainly better than when I started a fortnight ago.

Back on the bike then, but no plans, just toddling along enjoying it for now. That "Devils Staircase" is too close for my liking though, another month and I may pluck up courage to tackle it slowly - downhill, nobody is stupid enough to go UP the other way are they ......Hanneke?

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

Normal 20km each way commute today, made a touch more interesting by the fool im a red mazda who pulled out infront of me in Handsworth.... Luckily I was only going about 10mph so managed to slow down and then stop myself by kicking his tyre.
Other than that, a really nice sunny ride in and back. First outing for the dark glasses this year, and getting close to shorts rather than 3/4s too (would be shorts for the way home, but it was still rather chilly for that at half seven, think I need some knee warmers)

Including the little PBITMON loop is the next step, as for the staircase :closed:.

Now there's motivation . A short hard 35 minutes this evening, and, I wore my honorary "Dim Wibblio" top. How brave was that?

Still only peddling in trainers and toe clips, on the basis that if the bike (or I) break down, I can chuck it behind the hedge and walk home. I can also push it up hills if necessary .

Yay to the Dim Wibblio jersey being put to good use! There is absolutely no shame in pushing bikes up steep hills!

I rather fancy a ride up the devils staircase, fancy a tow Moley?
