I ran last Sunday in Amex Purple Fell Ponies vest. It was stunning up there with just the meadow pipits, curlews and a red kite for company. As you say Multi, it should be good going on Sunday

I'd wear my flu green one but it's a tad tight these days! Must have shrunk in the wash...............

I imagine it was dropped on top of the other by the ice sheet. I read somewhere that it hasn't rocked for a century or so.

Rocking Hall. An early example of a shooting house, built in 1758 for the Bolton Abbey Estate. It is a substantial stone-built structure and features separate rooms for the shooters and beaters. It takes its name from a large ‘rocking stone’ situated between the two buildings. It lies next to an earlier 17th century farmhouse. It is still in use and has been visited by many distinguished guests, including King George V in 1911.

Maybe 4 ... I might be there too. Now what to wear .... black, white, green or purple?

BTW, is it a later start for runners, or everybody away at 8.30?

The trick is to be in the pub for a few swift Old Peculiers by 12.30. Have a good one.

Looks like I'll have to finish a bit sooner than my predicted 4hrs time to be in the pub by 12.30!
