tbh I doubt adidas care what the brownlee brothers wear for fell running; they sponsor them for their tv exposure, I doubt they'll be making special shoes just so they can win bottles of beer at the weekend! They'll get the shoes for free but that's probably it.

If I had free shoes, I'd probably wear them too (although I'd wear the swoops down the pub; see above!)
Really as bad as "my dear boy"...?

A special shoe wouldn't cost Adi anything.

Any chance you could post a photo of these shoes...

If I knew how to, I would! I'll have to get one of my kids to help me...
If you google 'LSR fell soles' it'll take yo to their website which has piccies of the sole on it.

Fell crosses were excellent, no soreness to my feet anywhere so 5*'s for comfort, they've now done over 100 miles and to be honest the uppers look brand new(with some minor marks) studs are showing only a little wear so that looks good too.
Grip has been quite good, certainly no problems on the wet boggy stuff, one bad point was they were quite slippy on the paving slabsup to Mill hill so thumbs down for that although a member of my team had mudclaws on and she fell twice due to slipping on the same path!

I've just weighed my size 10's they are absolutly soaking and covered in mud having been left out to dry in the pouring rain 550grms, dry out of the box they weigh 295. it would be interesting to compare the weights with mudclaws in similar conditions but I doubt I'd buy another pair now.

just a foot note(sorry) when they were brand new they felt abit clumpy/stiff but they feel great now.
Ps my new pair turned up this morning

Looking for a new pair of fell trainers at the moment and have just seen these, has anyone had any joy with them?
