Thread: just me without mobile phone?

    just me without mobile phone?

Last time I used it was probably August 2011.

I would have used it again last week but realized the PAYG contract must have expired as I spent more than 6months without making a chargeable call. Never mind, I happily did without.

Is it just me not using a mobile phone?

A friend has just 'phoned on the landline complaining my mobile's been off since Sunday - hadn't noticed myself. Same thing happened last week :closed:.
Pay-as-you-go about £5/yr. Funny really because when I lived overseas I had two of the things (eventually three SIMs) and usually remembered to have both on and with me, at least when in range of a signal. But then I didn't have a landline, e-mail....

Bought one from Woolworths (remember them) 9 years ago PAYG and have kept in in the boot of the car for emergencies. Last time I needed it (breakdown) I found the battery was flat despite never being used grrrrh. I think we're among the group that mobile phone companies label 'refusniks' (or sad old buggers with no friends!).
