    We have the same debate with the PPP. I think what some stats show are bottom of climb to top. Often climbs have a little downhill in them though and perhaps some of the minor undulations across Maiden Moor don't show in the official stats.
    Also it depends on line.

    I have 11.8 and 3800ft in my schedule anyway and that will do for me.

    Well I have 11.6m (probably fairly accurate) and 5128ft!! In reality I expect it's somewhere between 3500-4000. Either way it's enough, and it probably depends on the precise route you take. The only accurate way to measure it would be to use an altimeter watch and take an average reading over the main route choices. It doesn't matter a great deal though really does it?

    I see a couple of other people were sad enough to have Strava running during the race - Jules Coleman and No map no compass! Shame I forgot to switch mine off and recorded the drive home too!

    think my alti watch gave it as 3900 ish of accent for aw deleted it now thow
    thanks for getting results up wynn i had to shoot straight off at finish 1st time ive "refused" a free pint!

    I'll second that - my Suunto altimeter recorded approx 1200m (3960ft) for the AW.

    Any more I wasnt aware there were any. Shame as it was such a lovely day I wish I'd taken some now but assumed there would be a plethora available on the net within hours.
