At least JT can concentrate on managing the team now......

It's true though. Did you notice that they had Bosingwa ready to come on for Cahill until Terry stopped the substitution by ordering it to be delayed for two minutes. Presumably overruling the physio who had just been on the pitch.

Of course, two minutes later Cahill has to come off, most likely after consulting JT. :w00t:

Good on Chelsea. If our national team could show that much spirit and determination they might just get somewhere.

    gutted to have missed it

Not seen any bit of it yet but sounds like the Sending off was justified. Poor team spirit. deserves to miss the final acting like that.
Well done to the rest of the boys in Blue(dark)

what odds at the start of the season for a Chelsea champions of Europe, possibly doing a double or Liverpool doing a double and City premier champs?

I know it's all still to play for but it's an interesting thought

Just checked out the highlights on Youtube

I wouldn't play JT again this season if I could, I also wouldn't take him to the Euro's what a Tw4t. you can't trust him and as a senior player he should lead by example.
    Sublime chip though, superb goal.
great finish to run round the keeper. big question would drogba have taken a dive as the keeper went to ground.....

    ....
I agree he's a horrible human being on every level. No amount of PR can make up for it.

An absolute nightmare of a man. An unflushable turd.

    and vastly overated. :w00t:

Unflushable turd is the best description of JT I've ever read.

Thats where I disagree.. hes a bastard.. but he's good.. he loves being that good and that hated and thrives on pressure.. I'd have him in my time, when fit, any day.. He may not be a great person, but he is a great player. Has his weakness, but you'll see few more complete defenders in the world.

I agree. He is undoubtedly an "unflushable turd", but a great, great defender. Despite, or because, of his relative lack of mobility he reads the game brilliantly. He's like a ball-magnet... just there where he needs to be. I kind of like his old-school centre half ways. Did you see the first game against Barca where Puyol had hurt his wrist? He showed it to Terry; he just grabbed it and squeezed. Good scoring record too.
