Very enjoyable game, just for what was at stake for both teams. Now what is going to happen at Old Trafford ?
Don't often watch football but enjoyed the game today, Man City deserved to win, Newcastle gave everything. Great defence and goalkeeping by Hart. 2 great goals. Hope they win the title:thumbup:

Having waited 44 years I, as I am sure the majority of City fans are, am aware of how our team have over the years been the best at producing the 'double barrel shotgun' and aiming squarely at our foot and shooting. For example I remember celebrating when we thought we had avoided relegation. All we needed was a point against Luton at home - need I carry on? This is City we are talking about, I will therefore air on the side of caution until 4.45pm next week.

I seem to remember I was quite dismissive about your boys 5 or 6 weeks ago when it seemed like they'd bottled the title, but I take it all back now. Thought they were hugely impressive today against a good Newcastle team and next week they will become worthy champions.

To be honest who ever wins deserve it.. both have very impressive points titles.. City have been the better team for much of it, but United's bloody mindedness has kept them in it.

    But the league doesn't lie.

People point at the 6-1.. but this league has swung back and two and we've both dropped a lot of silly points.. Everton, Blackburn, the two obvious ones for us, but we've also both pulled games back from the dead.. Sunderland for them and Chelsea for us..

Its been a good season. As a manc its great to have this. I spent most of my youth in Sheffield and watch mates squabbling over promotion to the championship..

Wouldn't you agree that much of your big spending was as direct result of the initial income from when you floated on the stock market back in the early 90s?

So really it came from investors?

Kind of like our income really?

Bloody hell - the depth of the old alcoholics barrel is quite astonishing.

At his press conference today he said . "29 years ago i took 11 players, the oldest 27 to defeat Real Madrid in a european final." "That's what QPR have to do."

He was also bleating that QPR players salary will be halved, if they go down.

    Tick flaming Tock Baconface.
