As far as I am aware, it is a clincher made by using the same technique as a tubular... only, it isn't sewn [sp] up like a tub, it is open with beads like a clincher... So you get the quality of a tub, without having to have special tubular rims or glue them on, if that makes sense? Open tubs tend to be quite expensive!
