With 2 games to go all we needed was a win to get promoted. 1-0 2-0 3-0 then 3-1 3-2 3-3. Absolutly gutted. We had to go to Bradford were Tony Morley scored in the dying minutes to gain promotion. Happy days!
I know exactly what you mean William. I keep getting this horrible feeling that QPR will ruin it for us with (ex-Blues) Shaun Wright-Phillips, Nedum Onuoha and Joey Barton in the team.

Sunday's game is controlling my life at the moment Muddy.

Last night I had a clear, vivid dream that I was watching the match and that at half time it was City 0-0 QPR. Half time at "Roker", Sunderland 0-0 Utd.

I woke up in a cold sweat. I don`t know if I can take this anymore.

If I get the second half tonight I`ll let you know, but I`m staying off the cheese before bed tonight that's for sure.

That's the thing about dreams isn't it, they can be so realistic and then they'll throw in a little curve ball like that. I imagine in your dreams tonight you'll be playing at Maine Road or the local park or something.

Ah well, it will soon all be over for you and you'll be celebrating deliriously on Sunday evening or just maybe not.......

Early goal for City and Sunderland go one up against United. It's all over.
Into the second half and United equalize. A glimmer of hope for Sir Alex?
89th minute and Scholes comes off the bench and scores with his first touch!
Surely City won't lose it now.
Mark Hughes hears the news from Sunderland and brings himself on at the Etihad with two of the three extra minutes already played.
"Wasn't it lucky I named myself on the bench" he thinks as the ball falls at his feet in front of an open goal and ...........................

    you wake up!

If we score first we'll win the league.

Come on you reds, put the blue shithouses under so much pressure by scoring first.

The blues inside the ground will start getting agitated, and it'll get to the players on the pitch and they'll balls it up

Hopefully Joey Barton will score and Hughes will do a Mourinho at OT for Porto type run, and the whole ground will explode in utter rage at losing the league

Been up since 6, can't sleep, on my third brew and feel like cracking open a can of Special Brew, I'm a bag of nerves, but I'm optimistic. We've got to do it.

I'm going to do a long slow ten miler up the canal to Tandle Hill and back in a minute - gotta kill some time.

That would be a quite fast run by your standards, Danbert.
