As ever a lovely little race. Thanks to Mary and her army of marshals.
Well done to StevieK for 2nd as well, good effort that man!

Managed to sit down and write before work today, so click on the link for the usual experiential report, with some lovely pictures taken by Cyclops.

Here's a short video of the race. Best watched in HD on Vimeo.

Lantern Pike Dash. Painful as ever. Had me on my knees at the end.

I've just put the Dash results on the web - URL below - thanks to Richard Scottney for these.

If William Clough comes this way, please see your PMs!

    Cheers, Steve

It's that time of year again. Hayfield 3 Days in May this weekend. May Queen race on Friday, Mount Famine on Saturday and Lantern Pike Dash on Sunday.

Mount Famine organiser Mark Boulton has asked me to put out a request for helpers.

Please contact Mark directly if you can lend a hand on Saturday - 01663 749253, Mobile: 07873 115685, email:[email protected]

All the race details here, as usual.

Weather forecast is looking good - should be a great weekend.

Some of the Thursday PFR'ers had a bimble round the Famine Course last night....
And the going is very good indeed ....
    Mostly nice & firm underfoot...

Hope to see plenty of you at the May Queen FR this eve..again the going is very good ...
Not forgetting the Famine flaying on Saturday...
And the Dash burn-up on Sunday!

Thanks to SteveT - full race details can be found here www.cs.man.ac.uk/~temples/hc/

And and the Hayfield Champs Results so far will also be posted, when this daft lad get's his finger out!!
