I'm still waiting & I emailed last May. I suspect they aren't getting through.

I tried to contact Dick a couple of times at the end of 2011 to get an update on the completions register. I suspect he may have changed email addresses but perhaps forgot about the Cumbrian Traverse!

I think I have enough on keeping up with new routes or catching up on old ones. Maintaining registers is a bit of a chore even if it's on a route you have devised yourself. Nobody has a register for classics like the Welsh 3000's so I wonder whether it really matters too much!

Does anyone have any navigation details from broughton to the first two tops? - the rest of the route is more or less on fell race or round routes - duddon - joss - borrowdale/bg - waltz. It is just the first couple of tops to Caw that are off the beaten track. Anyone got any notes on that? Details appreciated. Thinking of navving perhaps doing this in the next few weeks as a "get fit" warm up for the joss.

I did the same last year before my JNLC, but I did it north to south because it was a very blustery day. Well, gales actually. I haven't got notes for that section, but it's worth having a look at Wainwright's Outlying Fells, as they are covered in that. Preferably the revised version.

Regards the site and email address - I can confirmi have spoken to Dick Courchee who says he is still interested in maintaining the list and would like notifications and completions to be sent to the usual email address.
He says he will bring it up to date in the Autumn - so do keep sending the information.

BTW he says the standard 50000 map is fine for getting to caw.

Can you clarify the email address on the gofar page is still valid. I and some others have had no response using it.
