I agree and everyone else I know who has them says the same thing. For running on tracks and light fell in the Peak District they're perfect grip wise and in terms of comfort superb. For running on steep ground in the Lakes they're not so great, but I've got Walsh PBs for that...

X-talons do it a lot better than MT110s. Even F-lites work better.. Inov-8 got the best "sticky rubber" I´ve tested, and rocks in swedish trails always seems wet..

I'll be running Swedish trails in August...and for that purpose I will be wearing X talon 212s. I'd wear the Neo Trails but the stones on Swedish forest tracks hurt like buggery.

Anyone have any 190s? Any good....or too flimsy?

I love them. I love them so much that I wear them pretty much every day casually, which has resulted in heavier wear than they were intended for I think. My son wears the regular Neos too and he loves them...though the do kef a bit after a while.
The best thing about them (and this is a daft forum to say this sort of thing) is that they look cool as day shoes. I particularly like the wide toe box. They were as at home on the beach and road in Barcelona this week as they were up on the mountain trails of Montserrat.

I suppose I should add that they function really well as barefoot trail shoes. Decent grip, good feedback through the sole. You can remove the insole but I prefer with it in place....wimp. You really do feel sharp pebbles though.

The X talons feel like moon boots by comparison.

One more edit: It took me a good three weeks to get used to zero drop, and that was going from the x talon 212s. Tight calves for a while....forced me to dnf in Windmills Whiz. If you go for it, allow yourself a month before racing if you aren't used to zero drop.
