Does anybody have any reports on how Ashstroller / Ashleigh is doing? I was supposed to be helping but had to let her down a few weeks back and am instead sitting at home on child care duties but eager to hear progress.

Good luck to them as it's wet and wild out there at the moment. Mild, at least. Still very tough conditions though.

No news from Mrs Stagger or Merrylegs and they are doing Wasdale to Honister.
No news is good news.
Will report back when I hear anything.
I hope she gets a break in the weather. I've been tracking XC Weather since yesterday lunchtime and it looks similar to last weekend, as you say perhaps a bit milder. Go on Ash, you can do it!!!

Ashleigh set off at 6pm, came through Thelkeld pretty much on time and smiling despite the bloody awful weather. Last reported by our lot going over Clough Head.
Good luck, Ash... you were looking resilient at Threlkeld, but the weather was bloody awful in the night... the lady I was supporting pulled out at Sticks Pass, having lost time on the Dodds and getting distinctly COLD... she'll live to fight another day. I didn't even get my fell shoes on!
Saw Auld Ken all too briefly as well.
Anyone heard from him..?
Went off towards Skiddaw in something of a hurry but on his own
Hi all, we had fun over Leg 2 with plenty of driving rain and very poor visibility. However pleased to say that despite a few misplacements my compass worked and we managed to hit every top and only dropped ten minutes on the leg. Good going considering how absolute pants the conditions were Especially on the drop to Grizedale and off Fairfield and Seat Sandal.
Ashleigh was great all the way round the leg and was eating and drinking well. I saw her off head off steel fell in the capable hands of Dale Colclough (naviagator) with 3 of her friends in support.
The rain hadn't dampened her mood so fingers crossed she will do it. If she does she deserves a medal plus entry to the club.
Just had a text from Dale. She went through Honister at 3.10 still in fine form. Hopefully we have another deserving club member
