    Monday Trunce 4.25 mile 500ft
Tuesday 1/3 of a Kinder dozen approx 8 miles 3,000ft
Wednesday evening run with Shaunetto and mr1470, Ben Wyvis, 10 miles 3,000ft
Thursday, had a superb run doing the Ben Dearg 6 munros, 7 hours in clag and 3 in sunshine navigating solo through some really complicated terrain. 31 miles 10,800ft, didn't see a soul all day, a fantastic day out, I'll post some pictures later.
Fri turned out to be a bit of an epic, obviously a bit tired and not much sleep due to the midges set off to do Morrusig 6 in a bitter northerly, 7 miles in to a strong headwind 1000ft climbed and every piece of clothing on I was chilled to the bone so made the decision to bail. felt very rough on the way back. Again saw no one until a couple of miles from the car when I came apon a walker who said..."Hello Ian fancy meeting you here..." A runner from Goyt valley called Paul...

    so Mon-Fri
    66 miles 18,300ft

    Re: Today's Training

Actually yesterdays, was too tired to type last night!
Did 25 miler on Blubberhouses 25 route with Alfie (my trusty Jack Russel). Ended up on wrong side of river and trying to wade across waist deep - not possible due to very strong current) so had to fight through thick woods/ferns etc to crossing point. Every field had knee high sodden grass that felt like wading through treacle, the moors were totally saturated and it felt like trying to run on a carpet of seaweed on the sea, multiple bog monsters and sinkings to knees.
Made the whole thing a few hours longer than expected and we were not a pretty sight shuffling back to the car at Norwood.

Not sure how to count Fridays leg 2 nav. Think I will put 2 hours down to friday and 2 1/2 down to Saturday. Today was a gentle 25 mins off road on the hills near where I live.

11 Miles and 1400 feet of ups around the PW and up West Nab and home in 1:51:30. Saw a gaggle of Saddleworth runners trogging down Wessenden Head Morr towards the Isle of Skye.

9 mls. Not sure total assent as my watch is playing silly buggers and wont work it out! Edale, Mam Tor, Hollings Cross, Lose Hill, Hope and a leg sapping assent up Win Hill over and home :-). Stood in the river Derwent up to our waist for 10mins.
Running partner hamstrings painful so did a test on her to see if she fires her Glutes. Not a bit lol. She now has exercises to get them to help out her poor hamstrings.
Great run, beautiful clear day :-)

    Re: Today's Training

Set off at 8 last night on what was going to be a 70 odd mile jaunt with drop ins back at home for supplies. Weather, high winds, rain, paths like rivers. Dog created every time I called back home, took her out on what turned out to be my last lap, stomach cramps and a general feeling of rubbishness convinced me to call it a day. 12 and half hours, first time I've run through an entire night and 42m/9150ft covered, dissapointed but I live to fight another day.

    Need the loo now!
