    map given on day from what i recall, not bad to follow bit of route choice, slower runners set off half an hour early or should that be people who have partaken in the previous eves drinking, fantastic atmosphere and for a tenner u cant go wrong----- u have no excuses xxx

    The navigation is not too difficult. More route choice than fine navigation.

    You really should do it, these races are so much better when you do them all. I'd say this is just about the perfect race to build your skills. If you can read a map already you're sorted. Just use the compass to keep the map pointing in the right direction, forget about all that reading bearings stuff.

    Can't wait for the weekend, hopefully my cold will have shifted by then...

    You will be ok if you need help just shout you can't miss me, it is more a case of map to ground rather than micro nav

    You have to do all three. Dont be put off by the word navigation there will be pretty much most of the field following the same line (right or wrong)and a few others sneaking about but you'll have no problem getting round as long as you dont follow a red and white vest as it could be Smithies.

    I'm currently crocked for running but will be helping out at all three.
    Give me a shout at the summit at Wicken Hill, and at the end of the Bogs if you've got breath left.
