    Respect Steve! Superb effort!

I think I read somewhere that you're going for the Lakeland 100? Bloody good on you!

    Keep battling one!

A very wet 11.5 miles around Almscliffe Crag area, time for a hot bath I reckon.

An hour on the turbo trainer in me garage, just watching the world go by: The woman across the road came outside for three fags, bloke next door had a pizza delivered and I told the woman delivering Avon catalogues not to bother.

Approx 10 miles around Ripley with Martyn P and Helen, good pace all the way and pretty tough climbs, pleased to report Martyn's injury held up well.

    Re: Today's Training

Had a busy week by my standards,

Last Saturday did the Duirsdeer Hilll race, a SHRchampionship race and managed a PB.
Tuesday while on holiday near Fort William did a 7 hour walk with MM pack up the Nevis Glen
Wednesday Climbed the Ben with the wife Slowly with MM pack, but she managed to jog most of the way back down.
Thursday Climbed The Ben on my own with MM pack and ran backdown.
Today did a 5 hour run on the Hills back home with my MM pack.

Can you tell that I am training for my first MM?

Well done Steve. Don't be dissapointed as running through the night is a strange thing to do and you certainly covered a good distance.

Puts my training into a little corner - 20 minute run outside followed by chest, back and legs in the gym.

Just nipping out for a 50 mile run to finish off.......

Cheers Clive, not disappointed anymore, it was a good session in crap weather(character building hopefully) and by Friday I'll have done 75 miles this week, most I've ever done in a week.
Let us know how the 50 miler goes:wink:
