ive had a funny day mate
raced hard today in the relays in the peak, pissed down all the way very heavy and i forgot to eat when i finished my legs
had to run two legs as we didnt have enough runners
anyway i had a headache for 4 hrs earlier , prob cos i didnt eat , but ive had new contact lenses and i think they have my prescription wrong

thats not good pal i'd hate it if they got my contact lense prescription wrong nothin worse

legs were okay but i ran my heart out as usual only to spectate some later legs and some of our runners wasnt ready , thats not on

and also when i finish any race im exhausted , some of our lot just plod in and it really winds me up

Ilkeston running club mate
not a very competitive club , about 70 members , only 1x fell runner, me
lots of them had a shock on the relays todays with the climbing , but we did okay.

im thinking of joining pennine fell runners as well
it will feel a bit weird if i run with another vest on

yeah can understand that mate but if you wanna do more relays maybe you need to ?

no, relays arnt really my scene mate
i prefer low key fell races like famous grouse race or say white holme circular, organised out of a car boot
its just that pennine are about the nearest to me and are very friendly
