Poor Harry my border collie, not only does he have to put up with a lot of you lot kicking, shouting, throwing stones and being generally obnoxious but tonight he was chased by a herd of cows (he was running along the path minding his own business and they decided to charge him from 200 yards away). Its tougher being a dog runner than a human at times![]()
I was watching 'Chariots of Fire' last night and the Olympic squad running on the beach end up getting chased by a dog![]()
I always let my dog off the lead when in a field with cows. They HATE dogs and if they go for her, firstly without me connected to her she can out run them and secondly if they are going trample anything i would prefer it to be my dog rather than me!!
Worst I have been chased (and caught) by is bees swarming out of a hive. Not fun being stung in the head dozens of times. Mind you it was caused by my brother going past them and annoying them before me, which at least taught me to learn to run a bit faster in the future
My dog hates having me gently blow in her face. Could try that with a snarling pit bull, although I can't guarantee it will be effective.
