Sounds like you've done well to be back at it so quickly. Nice one.

Club run tonight for me. Chapel le dale up to Ingleborough, along the ridge to Park Fell and a quick and boggy descent back to the car. 7 mile 2000 ft. Not a drop of rain all the way round and clear tops across the Dales. Drove back to Kendal and the roads were soaking so seems we chose the right place to run!

Wnet out with Dark Peak last night for a social run, Some how ended up in the fast group. It resulted in a lungbursting training session. Hardest run off road I've done in ages outside of a race. Legs have that nice tired feeling the morning.

'Fast' four miles on pretty flat road last night.

Invested in a Casio digital watch for £12.99 from Argos so I can see exactly how quickly I'm doing it.

Don't think it logs ascent/descent as far as I can see!

Steady 9.6m 800ft with an overnight pack out to a bothy yesterday evening

This morning a 16.8m 6177ft on the hill, cooked up some lunch in the sun back at the bothy then a steady 9.6m 475ft back out from the Bothy

Bloody marvelous and logs are heavy things in a rucksack

Giving my legs another rest after Sundays race so slowly cutting my way through a shedload of logs... bit by bit, to protect dodgy back and shoulders. I will have free heat this winter  and an upper body workout

Culra for Ben Alder and friends, quite a nice bothy. I decided against biking in coz I'm hard!!

That and I'm off to the North Pennines(Teesdale) with Louise, and all runs are likely to be short sub 10 milers. I might just be able to sneak and 18 miler in but nothing really long.
