'Broadway Danny Rose' - Not seen it for a long time but a marvelous film and a great performance by Mia Farrow as Tina Vitale. She is unrecognisable till late in the film when she is shown in front of a mirror. I always thought Woody Allen put that mirror scene in so people could actually recognise it was Mia Farrow as her voice and makeup was so good up to that point! A blind xylophonist, a ventriliquist with a stammer, a one legged tap-dancer and a bird act with the star bird eaten by a cat..he manages the acts noone else will touch

Moneyball with Brad Pitt. Easily the best sports film I've ever seen apart from maybe the Damned United. Both as good as each other in fact and both true stories really well told.

An American Werewolf in London - I had this on a VHS tape but I can’t play that anymore so when I saw a Blu-Ray offer in my local store and this was one of the included films I snapped it up with a couple of other films. The “Yorkshire Moors” (actually the Black Mountains in Wales) looked good in Blu-Ray. John Landis made a great film with an excellent cast and storyline. The main reason I like this film of course is that the gorgeous Jenny Agutter is in it .

Finally got round to watching Avengers assemble last night.
First half of the film was a bit annoying and diassapointing, second half much better.
