We were not aware until the calendar was published that the race clashed with the FRA Relays.
We have therefore moved the race date forward one week to Sunday 7 October. (11am).
So you can now do both.
Or just Windgather.
If you haven't tried it before give it a go, it's a scenic loop of the goyt valley over mixed terrain with a few ups and downs and you can enter on the day.

Shame it clashes with the (even better) Hodgson Relay now. But it is a great route.
Shame..the new date now clashes with work and social diary schedules...I've really enjoyed this late summer / early autumn outing over the last few years...so do enjoy it for those who make it this year...and do remember to save some energy for the final ascent up Berry Clough...!

Hoping to get there this year, so long as I can sort a babysitter. would love to break 2 hours for the race, but fear that may be beyond my limits at the moment.
A cracking course, really fast and tough, how did Lloyd run it in less time than most of us could do the distance on flat roads????
