Took the afternoon off work and had 3.5hours bog hopping from Darwen to Winter Hill via Great Hill.
Managed 19.5 miles and about 3000ft and felt reasonable good, it peed it down the whole time. Actually think that helped to keep me cool.
No more running for me now till monday.
same for us saturday J only in reverse!! bloody wet and heavy going!
had the first day off since a week last sunday and clocked up 86 miles in less than 11 days so far

Thats a good run Emmi, the bogs after winter hill towards great hill are ridicolously good fun. On the way back my legs where pretty tired and just did not have the stretch to clear them.
Im guessing you saw two dead sheep on that route then?
I like counting them it sends me to sleep
