    wow i feel like i've been in a war! managed to stumble up to the presentation (out of nice warm van where i had been defrosting my feet) in time to get a prize for being 20th lady :-D

    cheered me right up 5:45 being some way off my aspirational 5:00hrs.

    truly thought i was going to be blown off the vertical slopes of whernside! had to jog/walk nearly the whole way down. was beginning to suspect there was actually no such place as ribblehead (funnily enough i had a similar feeling on pen y ghent when i was beginning to suspect that there wasn't actually a summit)

    it was dave weatherhead and barbara helping us over the stile of doom on simon's fell - big thanks to them and anyone out on the course!

    think i might retire from cyclocross now...

    Dave, Barbara you were brilliant there could have been trouble/accidents going over that stile in the gale without your help - Much appreciated

    Well that was epic ! thought i would have got under 5 hours this year but having spent thursday friday trying to sweat out a cold with the help of a bottle of nightnurse and a dodgy rear mech on th day
    just managed 6.33! but all fun ! a big thanks to those marshals and helpers on the check points& on the summits especially great stuff cant wait till next year:w00t:
