Hi everyone, currently on staying in hawkshead and was just wondering if anyone is going to be out running over the next few days. Not very good with a map and was just wondering if anyone could show me a few routes? I know there's plenty of places but I don't fancy getting lost as I haven't been running round here before.
The Lakeland Trails Hawkshead route is good fun - check it out on line and then get out there with a map and compass and you will have a good time. Alternatively head to Coniston and explore the area between The Old Man, Dow Crag and Swirl How. Or just head up the Walna Scar Road and go as long as you like - your legs will almost certainly run out before your navigating ability does.
