Pete, is the field available for parking or is it too boggy?

I've paid the farmer for parking in the usual field and when I was last there two weeks ago it looked dry. It has hardly rained since then and the forecast for the rest of this week has no rain at the moment, so it should be ok. Keep your fingers crossed.

Fantastic weather, don't mind the cold when the sun is out! First time a this race for me and really enjoyed it.

Thanks Peejay to you and your merryband of helpers.
    Another excellent event.
Mr Holmes appears to be back in form AGAIN and old Mark Roberts had a fair run.
Good to see the Ambleside ladies had travelled in strength to take the ladies team prize.
Nice to see Alan Greenwood mending after his recent illness.
All in all a great day.

Think it was the Ambleside women Trevor not Borrowdale?

Yes many thanks to all involved. Nice to see the last finisher not only getting a prize but getting a resounding applause as she finished from all the top runners and a few of us also rans
