    There will be lots of mud and a tap round the back of the pub to wash it off.
    This is truely a great little race that everyone should do at least once.
    Get there early because there is always a lot of runners do it.

    Tomorrow will be the 12th time I have done this race,suffering a bit with sciatica at the moment but resting seems to do no good so I'm gonna run. Itinery- train from Leeds to Tod. walk to Shepherds Rest. do race,have a beer. walk back to Tod. Partake of beer in Bare Arts cafe. partake of more beer in the 2 pubs next to railway station. get train home Sorted !

    Sounds like a great way to finish off the day:thumbup:. Unfortunatley I'll be driving so drinking will be limited :thunbdown:
    I've done this race every year apart from the inaugural race, so I think this year will be my 25th.
    Shepherds Rest will have done well out of me over that time (about 50 pints).

    thoroughly enjoyed todays race, the mud makes it all that extra special..only the second time I have done this race, the marshalls were ace, great support all the way round..thanks guys...to top it off 10 mins off last years time :thumbup:
