Date for new race

I said I would let you know the date of a new up and down race here in Hope (high peak).
Some wanted late in the year but after negotiations with the land owner we have agreed on 15th September 2013. It has been registered with the FRA and will be in the calendar. `Fit as a Butchers Dog` race will go through private fields to the old `Crimea farm`(Lose Hill Farm now) and then straight on up to the summit of Lose Hill Pike and back again.
I thought of incorporating this race during the Hope Show on August bank Holiday but felt the size of the show and logistics would be to much. I did here that Jim Fulton (Longshaw Sheep dog trials ) DPFR has some plans for this. Jim, if you see this drop me a line as i don`t want to clash routes.
