Wife's birthday yesterday. Took the day off and cooked her lunch accompanied by Kate Rusby and June Tabor & the Oysterband.
Sorry, that's a bit ambiguous isn't it Barty? I can't work out whether they helped you cook lunch, or whether you made chutney from them & served them on the side. Which was it?
Ahhh I see! I don't know what they're all like at cooking, but given my musical talent I think we came to the best arrangement. Banished wife from kitchen, put CDs on. First time I've had the kitchen to myself for years (kids all now left/at Uni.). Most enjoyable, if a bit full during last night's club run. Beethoven served the coffee & thin mints.
