watching with interest
Chill Shaun - it is running related..........and I have told enough people now - not being melodramatric - all will be revealed in due course - I'm of to watch a Dvd.......
Well, my exit from XOTF was a little hasty, unexpected and ended quite dramatically in Hereford A&E...
I wasn't well, as some of you knew... Reason was, transpires now after this mornings operation, that I had a deep hematoma in my left buttock, from severe trauma, sustained during the Isel of Man End2End MTB race. I wasn't aware of it, as on antiinflammatories for my spinal condition, until it decided to go from nothing to a tennis ball in the time span on 12 hours. A GP friend and the Keswick out of ours doctors service bothe adviced a trip to a&e asap, so I decided to drive home while I still could Saturday evening.
Sorry to have missed all the funBut I did the right thing, as I was immediately admitted for surgery Sunday morning. Not as urgent as some cases, so wasn't done till this morning. All went well and back home, on my tod, as I missed my flight to Holland this morning
Managed to get a friend to collect me from hospital, so that I could be discharged, and he bought me some food too, so I am currently stuffing myself after 24 hours of nil by mouth :w00t:
Happy Christmas everyone, sorry I was so rude to skive off, but think that was a valid reason...
Bring on next year and more Ramazotti! Glad I had some on Darling Fell!
Thanks Amex for being the driving force behind these excellent weekends and Millie, thank your husband for the lovely photo's!
Hope you recover soon, Hann. It was one helluva "will she, won't she" week for you what with banging your knee and the floods so I'm glad you a) got to be part of part of XOTF and b) got timely help.
So sorry you had to dash off but I completely understand why now, anyway nice to meet you albeit very briefly. Hope you're feeling much better after your op and wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
I am glad I at least managed to first evening and the walk to Darling Fell for Daz's memorial!
Oh, Millie, I am using the picture of the cairn with the cap and flowers and lovely view your husband took as my facebook cover if that is ok, let me know if it isn't and I'd take it down again...
