would've liked to've done Gravy Pud, but really needed to do something a bit longer to kickstart my BG training - did 6 hours out around Kinder (thoroughly enjoyable in the conditions)

Daz - didn't make Crag Hill, there is an outside chance I might get across for Wansfell but probably not. Thanks for starting the thread and keeping track of all this over the year, its been fun. I'll probably declare myself out of it for next year though as like you my focus is going to be less on races and more on long days out for the next few months.

MarkG - no probs - but surely you can fit in a couple of races as light relief between your long days out? :wink:

I rounded off the year nicely yesterday with the Dark & White mini-MM (4 hour score event) out of Edale
I scored 280pts compared to the winner's (inhuman) 405
if we assume that points on score events are proportional to average speed - this is the inverse of race times
so forum points is based on the pts difference divided by the individual's pts (rather than the winner's)
so (1-125/280)*100=55pts for me
which equals my best of the year :thumbup:
this will probably be my last race of the year, but I might just sneak in the Peak "O" Trial on 30th Dec...

I echo Mark G's sentiments. Thanks for setting this up and keeping it going. It's provided yet another incentive (as if I needed it) to push that bit harder.

Keep up the daily running, Stolly. :thumbup: I'm beginning to discover the benefits myself with a crop of new PBs I never thought possible now, although I could never claim to be running every day like you do.

Daz, I squeezed in another race yesterday - Staffordshire Moorlands Christmas Cracker - 8-mile blast up around The Roaches. Winner 54:45, me 70:49, which makes 71 points please for this month.

Blorenge - Winner 26.10, Me 30.05 which I make out to be 85 points.

My Skirrid race did not happen.

I best try harder next year, although I am only likely to be around for 8 months of it.

Final race of the year 2moro for me, Guisborough Woods. Alas I haven't remained fit enough throughout the year to complete the amount of fell races to count for this league. Looking forward to the woods race though, one of my favorite, not that I'll be doing any good just gunna enjoy the mad descent each lap and try not to capitulate too much on the ascents :P

I had 3 November races and I wonder if I can slip in my best one? if so, it was 62 points (winner 36.44 and my time 50.40) for Arnside Knott Fell Race.

Only road races in December, so that would be all for me.
