I know. The moor is in danger of losing it's personality. I like the challenge of negotiating the bogs etc. It's half the fun for me. I don't want to follow a linear path.

Still, as you say, I'm looking forward to it aswell !

I was out on the moor on Sunday and the new path out at Buckstones made me do a double take. I used to like that part of the course as there were a couple of places where kind walkers had dumped stones and bits of wood as makeshift bog crossings and if you could hit those you could make up some ground on people wading through the mud. Never mind, I'm looking forward to the race anyway....
