A few inches this morning. I got a text last night from a pal saying 'make sure you've got plenty of wood and coal in; the snow's coming', and he was spot on

A bit of a hairy drive in the snow to the railway station today. No gritting even on a lot of the main roads! On the plus side I am looking forward to a lunchtime run in the snow
Managed to dodge snowmageddon on the 4am trip to Edinburgh airport, I shal go back to sleep now and await spring
Halifax to Keighley no problem's
Snowing lightly here, but couldn't be bothered to dig the car out so stayed at home! Saves a gallon or so of diesel.
Sheffield has gone snow crazy! Still snowing and its covered well!
mountain biked it to work this morning, steady pace nice and safe. Few car drivers left without their common sence this morning I saw...
Dogs gone mental and snow has more effect than a full moon.. Yikes!
Quite a considerable amount so that even the snow plough was unable to punch its way up our lane this morning. They returned 30 mins later with a double-bladed device which worked after some to-ing and fro-ing. Not that you'd know as it' filled in again afterwards, right up to the dry-stone wall tops - Luooooveleeeee. Think it'll be the micro-spikes tonight and full blizzard kit!!

Took a run over the hill with Winnie to Litton this morning as there was a little lady up there to check on that her usual carer couldn't get too. Bea-u-ti-ful day!!! On way back decided to head Tideswell way to shop. Met an old guy in his 80's walking back to Litton on crutches in snow up to his ankles. Stops to chat and he had just been on a 3 mile round trip to Tideswell as he had a doctors appointment. I said is there no one could of taken you? His answer "tis only a bit of snow. No need to bother others". What an inspiration he was. To all those moaning about the snow, take heed and go sledging :-).
Funny but fell runners never seem to moan about it
I have just updated my blog with some pictures of the snow in Upper Wharfedale:thumbup:
