I knew I'd flush out a lads reaction pretty sharpish. Well done to the lads ('too' as I said).
In my defence I did say 'many' not 'any' and I still think the head-count is lasses ahead of lads.

No worries OB1 but 583 Men and 217 Ladies would suggest a comparison with the top 50 Men would be more apt.
John Heneghan P&B 23rd
Robe Hope P&B 28th
Simon Deakin Leeds 31st (Track Fairy on the forum and seen on Skiddaw racing
Gareth Raven Sale 35th
Nick Leigh Alty 43rd
Carl Bell Keswick 44th
Tom Cornthwaite Salford 47th
Josh Tighe Saford 49th
all inside the top 10% as with the ladies top 20.
looks a bit more respectable
I meant thanks to DN for putting results up actually... but anyway, i think you can't argue that there's more depth in the men's . Shame, but doesn't stop what women do it from giving it their all.. i long for a day we get equal numbers. And equal distance races at XC!!! My ovaries have thus far not prevented me running 12k and quite alot further
Thanks WP.
QED, blokes can multi-task too!

1. 84 Leeds City Athletic Club ( 5 9 10 15 20 25 )
2. 107 Stockport Harriers & AC ( 1 2 8 11 14 71 )
If Roadrunner has joined Stockport and if he is eligible to run in the National, Stockport could win the 6 man this year.
