I just think without the goals he has scored then United would not be where they are not to mention his assists for other players to score. Only van Persie could have scored some of those goals as well. He also gives confidence to the rest of the team which brings the best out of them. The winning goals he has scored against Southampton, Reading, Man City, West Ham, Liverpool has turned 5 points into 15.
I can picture Danbert creeping round to van Persie's place and polishing his front step
I wouldn't underestimate the contribution of Hernandez at key moments either. But haven't City scraped a few late goals to secure points they didn't look like they were going to get?
