Thanks to everyone for the birthday messages/texts/tweets etc. wasn't exactly looking forward to turning 40 and approached it with a head in the sand method but its been a pleasant (& quiet!) day.

Best birthday present, as daft as it may sound (?) but, those that know me will know exactly how much it meant; was that, after 13 years and months of meetings, head scratching, tub thumping and very hard work, Laurence actually did a wee on the loo!! An emotional moment I can tell you and one money certainly can't buy but a pressie I couldn't have wished for more :-)
Maybe by next birthday we can look back and he'll be fully there!
