I'm after some new trail shoes. I've been using Asics Gel Canyons, I'm sure they were discontiniud about 5 years ago when I stocked up in the clearance sales but my last pair is well overdue for replacement.
I'm going to primarily use them for LDWA events so would like some comfort but I still like fairly lightweight shoes. I'll stick with my Walshes for fell running so I don't need huge grip on steep ground.
I won't touch Inov8's after bad experiences, is the Wave Harrier likely to suit?

. Two blisters, one quite big on the instep where the stitching is on the inside. Never had any blisters with the previous ones (blue and red).

Recently wore them on the fells and they made mincemeat out of my toes on really rocky descents so not the best for this sort of terrain.
