Great race Trig and thanks for organising it- appreciate how hard it must be! Some great photos on web too. Definitely one for next years calendar! Wife and kids didn't even mind tagging along ( and spending morning in nice warm cafe whilst we trudged over the snowy fells!)

Hope you enjoyed the new river crossing (or did you take the bridge?)

Trig, you couldn't have done anything better, perfect setting, weather, course, etc. The one thing I would change is my performance, which as far as I know you can't do anything about. Even though the race made me realise that beyond 13 miles is not great for me, I reckon I would submit myself to repeat Heptonstall events for all that comes with it. If you do print up some t-shirts, put a link in here because I'd love a memento that isn't just sore legs.
Cheers 7daughters and well done; for some people the pre-race blessing was more like the last rights - but hey. you all survived the stairway to heaven, (last ascent!) memories fade, and I guarantee you'll be back on the cobbles next year.
Take a look at this new gallery of 320 race pictures from Steve Bateson - Running Pix - if we don't manage a T-shirt one of these might be a nice souvenir.....

    BTW which one are you?

Steve Bateson hasn't caught me at my best, so here's me coming over the top of the Stairway

Back next year like a shot.

    Re: Heptonstall Fell Race

Spent a hour last night enjoying all the photography - looks like we went through the 4 season's as the race progressed - check out the Wooden Tops, and Running Pix if you have nt already; we have had quite a few spectator's pictures too (loved the river crossing action shots)
Jedi is going to share as many as possible of the photos we have found on facebook - http://www.facebook.com/Heptonstallfellrace
If anyone has any they would nt mind sharing then send them on a link, as a message to the race Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/Heptonstallfellrace we can share them out to everyone if Jedi posts them - we seem to have missed getting a picture of Rev Pask starting the race - anyone get one?

We'll then sort them out and pop some of the best one's on the race website
