Oh don't keep us in suspense....please post the bearing and/or description.
80deg off the top takes me to a tiny crag from which I can traverse straight into windy gap...

    80 degrees off gable, not
Yeah, cheers, Daz! I'll still be suffering from BG knee at Borrowdale, probably. Going over to Bamford this evening for my first race - the descent from Win Hill should put my poor knee thoroughly to the test.

80 degrees sounds interesting, though. I'm sure my BG recce notes had 60 degrees - but there was no grass to be seen anywhere around there.

Dunno yet Emmi. Strangely, it seems that Juicer wants to camp and I want a nice warm b&b! I must be getting old...

huwski bounded off gable with all the enthusiasm of a young springbok , 15minutes later he appeared out of the gloom mumbling that it was a disaster.

Have you thought about camping on the friday night? Is that possible?

will you be ok to get there for 10 - still not sure how many are coming

    EVERYONE..............where are you
Hi folks, I'm planning to camp on Friday night - don't know where yet. If anyone else is camping it would be good to get into the same site - shall we suggest somewhere?

I'm working in Carlisle on the Friday so will be travelling up there on Thursday night. Then heading for the Lakes sometime after 4PM on Friday.

    Also racing at Bamford tonight.

Nice on Huwski - Looking back at the thread Chapel House Farm campsite appears to be the place to stay. I reckon I'm going to head there and hope it's not full.

Oh, just noticed I'd missed a few pages when reading this thread. Looks like a car at Honister might be my saviour then.

Hope everyone's not planning going too quick... gulp! You sound in a bit of a rush.

    Where's Chapel House campsite?
