Done as physio said, just had a gentle jog round the woods for 30 mins.
Just a little pain on descending.
Try again Thursday if no swelling or pain tomorrow and back to report to physio Friday.
Sounds positive Stagger. Good luck mate!

Most grumbling knees get sorted by strengthening all muscles that connect to it, as well as stretching them... The IT band needs regular stretching too, as it is no 1 cause of knee niggles, followed by a 'mal tracking' patella or patella femoral syndrome... which is helped by strengthening the muscles.
Worry is, that despite a good stretching routine and a regular remedial massage, this isn't going away like other niggles have... I'll have to get to the physio before long and see if I need to worry. No pain on running or cycling, just at the limits of flexion... And that is very sore
Cheers folks
Been for second session this evening, got a right quad battering/massage and more stretch's to do.
Managed 2 runs this week with little or no pain so I assume the treatment is working.
Good physio are a god send and do earn their brass.
